С ДНЁМ СВЯТОГО ДУХА!

Народный праздник Духов день (День Святого Духа) отмечается на 51-й день после Пасхи. В 2020 году он приходится на 8 июня. Церковь установила этот праздник в память сошествия на апостолов Святого Духа в 50-й день после Пасхи. Он создан с целью донести до людей величие Святого и Животворящего Духа, который является источником всякой жизни. Он обладает всем тем, что во власти Отца и Сына, кроме жизни и смерти. В едином Боге есть три лика – Отец, Сын и Святой Дух. Об этом говорит Православная Церковь. В Библии больше всего упоминаний и размышлений о Святом Духе встречается у Иоанна. Но в день праздника церковь постановила чтение из 18 главы Евангелия от Матфея. В нем рассказывается притча о пастухе и отбившейся от стада овце, о человеколюбии и обличении. Также говорится о том, что истинным православным христианам дана власть судить мир и о том, как важна молитва для человека. В Духов день батюшки освящают колодцы. По поверью, именно там прячутся русалки после того, как выходят из водоемов. Кто опасается присутствия водяных духов в доме, выставляет на подворье стол с хлебом-солью. После окропления святой водой колодцев священник посещает жилища и кропит ею стены. Девушки бросают в воду венки и гадают на счастье и удачу. Если венок идет ко дну – это не к добру, а если остается на поверхности – к удаче. Самые старшие женщины устраивают обряд «кормления земли». Они расстилают скатерти на лужайках или полях и трапезничают. Через время прерываются, чтобы часть блюд разнести по разным местам и оставить на земле. Русалки в Духов день покидают озера и реки. Они гуляют по просторам, одаривают влагой луга и поля. После этого побеги растут гуще и колосистее. В день праздника на землю сходит священный очищающий огонь, от которого прячется вся нечистая сила. А Святой Дух спускается с небес еще накануне праздника. Он пребывает среди людей и заходит в дома. Какая погода в этот день, такими будут следующие шесть недель. В Духов день нельзя говорить «за водой», иначе можно погибнуть от воды. Нужно произносить «по воду». Запрещается что-то втыкать в землю или вырывать из нее. Нельзя ловить отражение в воде – так можно потерять любовь.

The national holiday of Spirits day (Holy spirit Day) is celebrated on the 51st day after Easter. In 2020, it falls on June 8. The Church established this holiday in memory of the descent of the Holy spirit on the apostles on the 50th day after Easter. It was created to convey to people the greatness of the Holy and life-giving spirit, which is the source of all life. He has all that is in the power of the Father and the Son, except life and death. In the one God there are three faces-the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. This is what the Orthodox Church says. In the Bible, the most references and reflections on the Holy Spirit are found in John. But on the feast day, the Church decided to read from Chapter 18 of the gospel of Matthew. It tells a parable about a shepherd and a stray sheep, about humanity and reproof. It is also said that true Orthodox Christians are given the power to judge the world and how important prayer is for a person. On the Spirit day, the priests consecrate the wells. According to legend, this is where mermaids hide after they come out of reservoirs. Those who are afraid of the presence of water spirits in the house, put a table with bread and salt in the courtyard. After sprinkling the wells with Holy water, the priest visits the dwellings and sprinkles it on the walls. Girls throw wreaths into the water and guess at happiness and luck. If the wreath goes to the bottom – it is not for good, and if it remains on the surface – to luck. The oldest women perform the rite of "feeding the earth". They spread the tablecloth on the lawns or the fields and eat. After a while, they are interrupted so that some of the dishes can be carried to different places and left on the ground. Mermaids in Spirits day leave lakes and rivers. They walk on open spaces, give moisture to meadows and fields. After that, the shoots grow thicker and more columnar. On the day of the festival, the Holy cleansing fire descends on the earth, from which all evil spirits hide. And the Holy Spirit descends from heaven on the eve of the holiday. He dwells among people and walks into the house. What the weather is like on this day, what the next six weeks will be like. On Spirit day, you can not say "for water", otherwise you can die from water. You need to say "by water". It is forbidden to stick something into the ground or pull it out of it. You can't catch a reflection in the water – so you can lose love.
